Turkey Nachos

 Who says Classic Red is just for Italian food? This yummy recipe can be used for nachos or tacos.


1 lb ground turkey meat
 1 medium yellow onion diced
4 cloves of garlic chopped
1 tablespoon cumin
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon oregano
1 cup Classic Red
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper

Diced tomatoes
Shredded jack cheese
iced olives
iced avocado
lack beans
hredded lettuce
iced onions


Heat oil in a deep sauté pan or dutch oven. Saute the onion with garlic. Add the spices, and salt and pepper, to taste. Once the onions are translucent, add the turkey. I use mild but feel free to add some extra heat. Breakup the meat while it is browning. Once the meat had browned, add the Classic Red.

If meat looks dry, add more Classic Red. Let all come to a boil, reduce heat to medium and cook for 15 minutes more.

Use your favorite taco shells or chips, cheese and topping and enjoy!
