We’re not usually ones to follow trends...but our interest was piqued by the Baked Feta Pasta trend raging through TikTok. I mean...tomatoes, feta, pasta...that’s obviously right up our alley! What could be better?
The original version is pretty darn simple, but ours is even more so. With Jar Goods as your pantry’s secret weapon, you can whip this dish up with only three ingredients! Give it a whirl - you won’t be sorry!
1 jar - your favorite variety of Jar Goods Tomato Sauce
1 block good quality feta cheese
½ pound pasta of your choice (we used rotini, so the sauce and feta really stick)
Plop your block of feta in a casserole dish. Pour Jar Goods on and around the block of feta. Add spices if you’d like - we sprinkled on some red pepper flakes. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook your pasta according to package directions and drain.
Remove feta and tomato sauce and stir to combine. Add your pasta and stir again. Feel free to add additional herbs or spices, like fresh basil or dried oregano and freshly ground black pepper.
It’s time for the classic meatball parm sandwich. This satisfying meal works well for lunch or dinner. We’ll show you how to create your own meatballs but completely understand if you just want to buy some from your local market. Your choice!
