Your standard sausage and pepper pizza made vegan and a bit sweet by switching shallots out for regular onions. Taking ten minutes to prep, and ten minutes to bake, this recipe is perfect when you're crunched for time!
Your favorite pizza dough
1/2 green pepper, diced
2 shallots, thinly diced
1 cup veggie protein, sausage style - Gimme Lean Sausage has such a great flavor
3 cups shredded vegan mozzarella cheese - We love Daiya Mozzarella shreds
- or -
4 slices of Follow Your Heart Mozzarella
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Saute and break up the veggie sausage for a 2-3 minutes. Roll out dough and place onto a cookie sheet coated with olive oil, or a pizza stone. Brush a small amount of olive oil onto top surface of pizza dough. Top with Classic Red, sautéed veggie sausage, diced green pepper, and shallots. Top with the vegan cheese of your choice. Bake for ten minutes, or to your desired doneness.
